Unit Renovation - Sutherland

The renovation to this two bedroom apartment in Sutherland was undertaken in October 2009.
The bathroom was completely stripped to a bare shell to allow for a complete renovation.  The new design includes a new bath, frameless glass shower screen, wall mounted vanity and mirror, Parisi toilet and modern fixtures.
The carpet was ripped up and Boral Silkwood Engineered Hardwood Flooring was laid in the, kitchen, living area and hallway and new carpet was laid in both of the bedrooms.  The TV aerial was repositioned so that it was in the centre of the living area instead of being close to the sliding door.
Skirting and architrave was fixed throughout the living area, kitchen, hallway, and bedrooms.  New energy saving light fixtures and fittings were installed in every room.
The kitchen was also given a makeover with a white tiled splashback and stainless steel kickboards, the installation of new stainless steel appliances and mixer tap.
To complete the renovation, new door hardware were affixed to give them a more modern look and feel, the entire apartment was painted and new blinds were installed.
