Sliding Door - Taren Point

This sliding glass door installation involved knocking out part of the wall to allow for the door.

Internal structural work included removal of wall studs and the instillation of an LVL Lintel and new studs and jack studs.  During this the roof had to be back propped.  Once the door was installed, internally plastering of the wall frame commenced.  Externally the sill brickwork and wall framing was completed before the galvanised brick lintel bar was installed above the door to allow for the brickwork to be filled in above.  The brickwork was then acid washed and clean up commenced.

This job successfully turned a dull dark room into a vibrant, sun drenched living area.
